Beautiful, Colorful
Original hand painted artwork of your pet - not a print, photograph or computer copy

Using photos of your pet or auto which you will need to either real mail or email to me, I first sketch out the subject in pencil onto 300lb acid free, professional artists watercolor paper.Then the portrait is painted in watercolors and acrylics, pencil and pen work many go into the painting and voila, your artwork is born.

Please send several photos of your pet if you can not decide which pose looks the best or maybe one shows details a little better than the other. Your real photos will be returned to you along with the finished artwork.
A written description of the pet is always appreciated to help me with the pets coloring, breed type and personality.
The standard pricing to the left includes one (1) head,chest and front paws portrait of your pet, the pets favorite toy if desired, and a background color of the artists choice.

If you would like your portrait to contain more than one pet, several pet toys, agility jumps, furniture or other items or poses other than the default head and chest please email me to discuss pricing, there may be an additional fee for complexity. I will be glad to answer any questions.

Autos - A photo of the front of the car showing a part of the side is the best pose. Full side views of a vehicle are the worst view in my opinion.

More than one subject -
please include an additional $50.00
please keep in mind however that to make them all fit their faces will be smaller.
no more than 2 are recommended for sizes 11x14
no more than 3 are recommended for 16x20 and 18x24
pets need not be all together on your reference photograph, separate pictures are fine, I can draw them together.

Types of subject?
Any! I am familiar with all types of mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and autos.

Best size?
For a single portrait that you really want to see across the room 16x20 and 18x24 are the standard.
Please , I prefer not to paint detailed portraits of people, living or deceased. Nondescript folks in the background however are OK.

Paintings of your House/Home/businesses
Portraits look best on 16x20 and larger paper and will be painted from side to side.

Framing
Your finished painting will be delivered to you in a rolled tube.
When you receive your painting have it professionally matted with acid free paper and framed under UV glass.

Payment
Payment in full is due at the placement of order.
Paypal and personal checks are acceptable.

Shipping and Postage
Postage to U.S. destinations is included in the pricing.

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of your painting.
