Whole Lamb - $ 6.50 per pound hanging weight
Half Lamb - $7.00 per pound hanging weight
All butchering costs are included in this price.
A $100.00 deposit is required to raise your lamb which will be deducted
from your total per pound price in October.

Custom cut
to your specifications:
One of the benefits of having your own Lamb being custom raised for you
is that you can tell the butcher exactly how you would like your steaks
cut, how thick you want your chops and all sorts of instructions.
Your lamb will go to the butcher sometime in October., we use T. L Kellers
Meats in Litchfield, Ohio on rt 83 just north of rt 18.
When your lamb arrives at the butcher on a Tuesday ( I will email you
in advance to let you know ) you will need to call him and discuss how
you would like your meat cut and packaged, he is very nice and will walk
you through the process, if you are unfamiliar with how the lamb should
be cut he has a generic method which is wonderful But if you have a special
cut in mind please do let him know.
When you pick up your meat from the butcher you will not have to pay him,
I will pay him from the money you give to me. The butcher will have the
hanging weights ready for me at this time and I will add up the total
for your lamb minus the deposit you have provided at the beginning of
the year.
The approximate hanging
weight at this time for a whole lamb will be 40 to 60 pounds, hanging
weight is the weight of the meat after all the hide and extra parts are
gone.

Feeder Lambs
If you would like to raise your own lamb for the summer I will be selling
wethered feeder lambs $150.00 per lamb in April, give me an email
to be put on the feeder lamb waiting list.

What
makes our lamb so special?
They are local, totally grass fed and pasture raised.
Our breed of sheep thrives and gets fat on a grass diet. We do not have
to give them grain to have them put on weight.
They may take a little long to get to market weight, but the end product
is well worth the wait.
We also do not have to give them antibiotics or medicated feeds, I select
for sheep that are naturally resistant to many of the usual sheep diseases.
